Have Your Own Success Coach from Day One

Before you even start your first class, you will have a success coach assigned to you. Your coach will take the time to get to know you—your aspirations, your strengths, and your challenges—to help ensure your success from day one.

At Ivy Bridge, we recognize that making the transition to college can be a major life change. Many of our students have just graduated from high school and live at home with their parents. Many of our other students have jobs and their own families. Whatever your situation, your coach will help you adjust to college life on your terms.

Throughout your Ivy Bridge experience, your coach will contact you regularly through scheduled phone calls, e-mail, and text messaging. Your coach will offer input on what courses to take, help you register for classes, discuss assignments and concerns, and help you chart a course for your future.

Success coaching at Ivy Bridge is personalized, flexible, and designed to fit around your schedule. Initially, you will meet with your coach for 20 to 30 minute sessions to identify your personal and professional goals.

Once you’ve established what you’d like to accomplish as an Ivy Bridge student, subsequent meetings will be held to review your progress, and to set an agenda for each week—as determined between you and your coach. Potential agenda items may include topics like time management, presentation and test taking skills, finances and budgeting, and future career planning, as well as overcoming any specific obstacles you may be experiencing as an Ivy Bridge student.
