What are Grants?

Grants are the very best forms of financial aid. Why? Because you don’t have to pay them back. To receive a grant, you generally must be an undergraduate student—and the amount you receive depends on your need, the cost of attendance, and your enrollment status at the school you wish to attend.

There are three kinds of grants available to Ivy Bridge College students:

Federal Pell Grants

Available exclusively to undergraduates through the federal government as determined by your FAFSA form.

Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants

Available to undergraduates with exceptional financial need; priority is given to Federal Pell Grant recipients—and funds depend on availability.

Ohio College Opportunity Grants

Available to Ohio students from low- to moderate-income families, these grants are given in the form of need-based tuition assistance.
