There are three important steps you need to take to maximize your odds of receiving financial aid:
To get started in the FAFSA filing process, you must apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you have not already done so, apply for your PIN as soon as possible. Your PIN allows you to complete and sign your FAFSA form electronically. If you’re filing as a dependent student, make sure your parent applies for a PIN, as well; you’ll both need PINs to complete the form.
Applying online is the fastest and easiest way to submit your FAFSA form but if you wish to file offline, call our financial aid office toll free at 866-944-4228 and we will mail you a paper application.
Remember: When you fill out the FAFSA form, it will ask you to identify the school you plan on attending. Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University's school code is 003121. You may list up to five additional schools that you would like to receive your FAFSA information.
In order to file the FAFSA, you will need to include federal tax information for the 2010 tax year. You may estimate the tax information if your taxes are not completed. File your FAFSA form as soon as possible, as some states and financial aid offices have deadlines. Please refer to the FAFSA form to determine the deadline (if any) for your state of residence.
After you file your FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) that summarizes the information you submitted. If you do not receive your SAR within a reasonable amount of time, call the federal processor at 1-800-433-3243. Review the SAR carefully. If you find errors, you can make corrections by logging on to the FAFSA website or calling Ivy Bridge College's Financial Aid office at 866-944-4228.
