Throughout your time at Ivy Bridge College, your success coach will be in regular contact with you via phone, email, and even Facebook if you prefer it. Your meetings with your coach will focus on specific challenges you may be encountering as a student and ways to address them, including tips for improving time management.
Benefit from career counseling and resume help
If you’re interested in seeking employment before or after graduation, your coach will work with you to develop cover letters and resumes, build your networking skills, and help you with your job search.
Explore majors to discover your strengths and interests
For students who aren’t sure what degree they’re interested in, success coaches can be a great resource to explore what’s out there. Your coach will discuss your options and help you choose a major program that fits your goals and interests.
Have help navigating the college transfer process
If you choose to transfer to a bachelor’s program, your coach will partner with you as you explore your college options, and help you plan a pathway to transition to one of our 150 transfer partners or to another school that fits your aspirations.
Develop important life skills
Meetings with your coach will also help you develop valuable skills like communication, critical thinking, and diversity awareness that prepare you for whatever you choose to do after you graduate from Ivy Bridge.
Think of your success coach as your personal guide to navigating your education at Ivy Bridge College and, if applicable, transitioning to a four-year program to earn your bachelor’s.
